DOW FilmTec™ BW30-4040 Brackish Water

FilmTec™ BW30-4040 Elements are an industry standard for reliable operation and production of high quality water in light industrial applications. This element features the thickest feed spacer (34 mil) available in the industry today to lessen the impact of fouling as well as a fiberglass shell, which is recommended for systems with multiple-element housings containing three or more membranes, as they are designed to withstand higher pressure drops. The element may be cleaned over a wide pH range (pH 1 – 13) for the most effective cleaning.

FilmTec™ Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis 4" Elements can separate salts from water and are produced with an automated fabrication process that ensures precision, consistency, and reliability. They are ideal for use in medium-sized water treatment system that produce less than approximately 10 gpm (2300 L/h) of permeate. Our RO membranes build on a tradition of leadership in the thin-film composite membrane industry and meet the challenges of higher rejection in lower-pressure operations.

Keep elements moist at all times after initial wetting.

To prevent biological growth during prolonged system shutdowns, it is recommended that membrane elements be immersed in a preservative solution.

4.0 inch x 40 inch

The rejection rate percentage can vary on the basis of water pressure, PH, temperature and general water quality of the feed water. Suggest replacement of membrane elements: when flow comes too slow or at least 24 Months.

WARNING The reverse osmosis is not a device that makes polluted water drinkable (non-drinkable water into drinkable water). Do not use the system where the water is microbiologically dangerous or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before and after the system. All systems must be used in accordance with the manufacture instructions.
